By 2026, the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Egypt is estimated to reach 648 people aged 0-14, up 3% each year on average since 1995. In 2021, the country ranked 74th, with 535 people aged 0-14, while Malaysia came first at 535 people. Nigeria, Mozambique and Tanzania came in second, third and fourth respectively. At the same time, treatment coverage of HIV/AIDS in Egypt is expected to reach 58% of those living with HIV in 2026, a 3.9-point increase each year on average since 2009. In 2021, Egypt ranked 110th, with a 46% coverage, while Bhutan came first at 46%. Cape Verde, Latvia and Zimbabwe came in second, third and fourth respectively.
