Kazakhstan is set to reach 76% coverage of persons living with HIV by 2026. In 2021, 60% of people living with HIV were covered, a 3.8-point increase on average year-on-year since 2010. Macedonia topped the ranking in 2021 at 60%, followed by Cape Verde, Latvia and Zimbabwe. By 2026, the HIV AIDS prevalence rate in Kazakhstan is expected to reach 609 units (persons) aged 0-14, compared to 557 in 2021 – a 1.4% average year-on-year growth since 1995. Afghanistan had the highest rate in 2021 at 557, followed by Nigeria, Mozambique and Tanzania.
