The prevalence of HIV/AIDS among people aged 0-14 in Jamaica is set to fall by 3.3% year on year on average over the next five years, according to estimates. In 2021, there were 503 units (persons) aged 0-14 living with HIV/AIDS in Jamaica, placing the country 84th in the world rankings. Italy had the highest prevalence at 503 units (persons), followed by Nigeria, Mozambique and Tanzania. Meanwhile, the treatment coverage of people living with HIV in Jamaica is set to rise by 2.9 points year on year on average over the next five years. In 2021, 43% of people living with HIV in Jamaica had access to treatment, ranking the country 114th globally. The Philippines had the highest treatment coverage at 43%, followed by Cape Verde, Latvia and Zimbabwe.
