This is a decrease of 4.6% compared to 2021, when the figure was 75,890. Since 1995, the number has dropped by 5.4% each year on average. Zimbabwe is currently ranked ninth, just behind Kenya, which has 75,890 cases. Nigeria, Mozambique and Tanzania are the top three countries in this ranking.
