HIV/AIDS prevalence among people aged 0-14 is set to drop by 1.6% year on year on average, reaching 64,310 by 2026. This is a decrease of 2.6% since 1995. In 2021, Zimbabwe was number one with 70,280, followed by Nigeria, Mozambique and Tanzania. Treatment coverage for those living with HIV has seen a 2.7% increase since 2020, bringing it close to 77%. This is a 20 point increase since 2009. In 2021, Ecuador overtook the lead, with Cape Verde, Latvia and Zimbabwe following at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
