The number of people living with HIV in Hungary is set to increase by 1.9 points a year on average, reaching 68% coverage by 2026. This is a significant increase from 2005, when the rate was just 5.5 points. In 2021, Hungary ranked 80th in the world, with 60% coverage, while Sri Lanka topped the table with 60%. Cape Verde, Latvia and Zimbabwe came second, third and fourth, respectively.
