This downturn continues a long-term trend, with Ukrainian supply falling by an average of 9% annually since 1995. Ukraine secured the 9th position in global rankings for 2023, with Austria narrowly surpassing it, also reporting 946 million tonne-kilometers. Leading the rankings were the Netherlands, Germany, and Romania, occupying the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th spots respectively.
