Exports of Chilean transformers are forecast to fall 4.6% to $5.6 million by 2026. This compares to $7.3 million in 2021 and a 5.7% decrease since 1995. Chile ranked 70th in 2021, with Egypt overtaking as the leading exporter at $7.3 million. Germany, the US and Japan were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in the ranking. Meanwhile, imports of Chilean transformers are expected to grow by 0.9% to $264 million by 2026, compared to $250 million in 2021. Since 1995, demand has increased by 1.6%. Chile was 45th in 2021, with Nigeria overtaking as the leading importer at $250 million. China, Germany and Mexico were 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the ranking.
