German transformer exports are set to reach almost $11 billion by 2026, up 1.6% year on year on average. This marks an impressive 4.9% growth since 1996. Germany took the second spot in 2021 with exports amounting to $9.9 billion, behind China's $9.9 billion. The US and Japan followed in third and fourth place. Meanwhile, imports of transformers into Germany are expected to reach almost $7.9 billion by 2026, a 1.8% year on year rise. This follows a 5% growth since 1996. China topped the imports ranking with $7.1 billion for 2021, with Germany in third place. Mexico and China came in second and fourth place respectively.
