French transformer exports and imports are expected to reach $1.6 billion and $2.8 billion respectively by 2026. This is a slight decrease from 2021, when exports totalled $1.6 billion and imports totalled $2.5 billion. Since 1999, French exports have increased by a steady 0.4% year on year, although imports have grown at a higher rate of 3.4%. In 2021, France was the 13th largest exporter and the 7th largest importer of transformers. Poland, Germany, the United States and Japan were the top exporters, while the Netherlands, China, Germany and Mexico topped the import rankings.
