Uruguay's transformer exports are on the rise — set to reach $2.3 million by 2026, up 1.1% from 2021. Since 1999, the country's supply has grown an average of 4.4% each year. In 2021, it ranked 82nd — Guatemala took the lead with $2.2 million. Germany, the US and Japan came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Uruguay's transformer imports, however, are expected to dip by 1.6% to $30.2 million by 2026. Since 1999, demand for transformers has fallen by an average of 7.1% each year. In 2021, Uruguay placed 96th — Malawi came in first with $33.2 million. China, Germany and Mexico followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
