This marks a steady increase since 1996, when exports rose by 0.3% each year. Last year, Saudi Arabia placed 47th in the rankings, with Colombia overtaking them at $72 million. Meanwhile, Germany, the United States and Japan took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Imports of transformers to Saudi Arabia are forecasted to hit $524.4 million by 2026, a decrease of 2.3% annually from $600.1 million in 2021. This marks a decline since 1996, when imports dropped by 12.4% each year. Last year, the country was ranked 32nd, with Slovakia just ahead at $600.1 million. China, Germany and Mexico followed in second, third and fourth places respectively.
