Bahraini transformer exports are predicted to hit nearly $5 million by 2026, up 0.8% from $4.8 million in 2021. Since 2005, exports have dropped 2.2% year-on-year. In 2021, Bahrain was ranked 74th, having been overtaken by Mozambique, who had exports of $4.8 million. Germany, the US and Japan occupied the second, third and fourth spots in the rankings. Bahraini transformer imports are expected to reach $207 million by 2026, up 3.4% from $169 million in 2021. Since 2005, imports have increased 26% year-on-year. In 2021, Bahrain ranked 54th, behind New Zealand, whose imports were $169 million. China, Germany and Mexico were the second, third and fourth biggest importers.
