In 2021, Australia was the top importer of aluminium with $2 billion, followed by Germany, Japan and France. Meanwhile, Brazil's aluminium exports are forecast to drop by 8.4% year-on-year to $429 million by 2026, down from $711 million in 2021. Since 1994, Brazilian exports have decreased by 6.4% annually. Indonesia was the largest exporter of aluminium in 2021 with $711 million, followed by Germany, the US and Canada.
