Since 1993, the Portuguese import rate has risen by 7.8% year on year. The United Arab Emirates topped the 2021 rankings, with imports of $1.004 billion, while Portugal was in thirty-sixth place. Germany, Japan and France followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
