Latvian aluminium exports are expected to reach around $159 million by 2026, up from $139 million in 2021. Since 1999, exports have grown by an average of 9% each year. Latvia was the 61st largest aluminium exporter in 2021, overtaken by Cameroon with $138.5 million. Germany, the US and Canada were the second, third and fourth largest exporters respectively. Latvian aluminium imports are projected to reach $125 million by 2026, up from $112 million in 2021. Since 1999, imports have increased at an average of 7.2% each year. Latvia was 82nd in 2021, with Paraguay overtaking with $111.7 million. Germany, Japan and France were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
