Macedonian aluminium import is projected to reach almost $100 million by 2026, growing at an average of 2.8% year on year, since 1999. In 2021, the country ranked 90th, with imports of $84.6 million, surpassed by Palestine. Germany, Japan and France took the remaining spots in the top four. Meanwhile, exports of aluminium from Macedonia are expected to reach $17.8 million by 2026, an increase of 1% year on year on average since 1999. In 2021, the country came in at 89th, with exports of $16.7 million, behind Myanmar. Germany, the US and Canada were the next three countries in the ranking.
