Kuwait is set to see its aluminium imports reach $785 million by 2026, a 3.6% increase on the $633 million recorded in 2021. Since 2005 Kuwaiti demand has grown by 18.8% each year. In 2021, Egypt overtook Kuwait, taking 40th place in the global ranking with $633 million. Germany, Japan and France ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Kuwait's aluminium exports are expected to decline by 0.4% a year on average to reach $43 million in 2026, down from $44 million in 2021. Since 2005, Kuwaiti supply has risen 1% each year. In 2021, Panama overtook Kuwait, taking 78th place in the global ranking with $44 million. Germany, the US and Canada were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
