On average, demand has increased 2.1% year-on-year since 1994, with Oman coming in at number 60 in 2021, just behind Kazakhstan. Germany, Japan and France were the top three importers in this ranking. Meanwhile, Omani aluminium exports are set to reach $1.12 billion by 2026, up from $960 million in 2021, with an average annual growth of 2.5% since 1994. Denmark was the leading exporter in 2021, with Oman placing 37th. Germany, the United States and Canada were the next three biggest exporters.
