Kenya's pig production is predicted to reach nearly 143,000 heads by 2026, an increase of 2.1% annually since 2021. This follows a 4.5% year-on-year growth since 1966. Consumption of pork in Kenya is set to rise to 17,100 metric tons in 2026, growing at a rate of 1% each year since 2021. Since 2017, demand has held steady and the country is ranked 92nd in 2021, just behind Ivory Coast which consumed 16,000 metric tons. The United States, Russia and Vietnam hold the top three spots in the ranking.
