The US, Singapore and Ireland were the top three importers of whisky in 2021. Kyrgyzstan's whisky export and import have been on a significant decline in recent years. In 2021, the country's whisky export is estimated to be $11.7 million, down 16.9% compared to 2020. Since 2008, Kyrgyz supply has decreased by 40.4%. El Salvador overtook Kyrgyzstan at $11.7 million, with the United States, Singapore and Ireland ranking second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Kyrgyz demand for whisky is expected to reach $3.2 million by 2026, an increase of 2.3% year on year on average. Since 2005, the country's whisky import has grown by 7.3% every year.
