Demand for Beninese whisky is set to drop 14.4% year on year between 2021 and 2026, reaching a total of $90,670. This follows a rise of 8.1% year on year since 2003. Exports of Beninese whisky dropped sharply in 2021, from $11,960 in 2020 to $5,570. This is a 53.5% decrease compared to the previous year and a 45.2% decrease since 2003. Benin was ranked 98th in the whisky export market in 2021, with Montenegro leading at $5,570. The United States, Singapore and Ireland followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
