Romanian whisky imports are expected to reach $73 million by 2026, up from $62 million in 2021. This growth is estimated at a compound annual rate of 2.6% since 1995. Over the same period, demand for whisky in Romania has risen 8.3% each year. Exports of Romanian whisky are also forecast to rise, reaching $8.4 million by 2026 compared to $6.7 million in 2021. This is an average annual increase of 3.7% since 1994. The country ranked 35th in 2021, with South Korea taking the lead with $6.7 million. The United States, Singapore and Ireland were second, third and fourth in the list respectively.
