Egyptian poultry meat production is expected to reach 1.6 million metric tons by 2026, up from 1.5 million metric tons in 2021. This represents an annual growth rate of 1.3%. Since 2017, Egypt's poultry meat production has increased by 1.1% each year. Egypt currently ranks 22nd in the world, while Canada is in the lead with 1.5 million metric tons. China, Brazil and Russia follow in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Egyptian poultry meat consumption is forecast to reach 1.95 million metric tons by 2026, up from 1.76 million metric tons in 2021. This equates to an average annual growth rate of 1.7%. Since 2017, Egyptian demand for poultry meat has increased by 1% each year. Egypt currently ranks 13th in the world, with Colombia ahead of them at 1.76 million metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Russia rank second, third and fourth, respectively.
