Rwanda's poultry meat production is expected to stay at 16,000 metric tons by 2026, the same as it was in 2021. This is the same amount of production that the country has seen since 2017. In 2021, Rwanda was ranked 121 in poultry meat production, overtaken by Albania with the same amount of production. China, Brazil, and Russia were the top three producers in 2021, respectively. Rwanda's poultry meat consumption is forecasted to decline by 0.4% annually to 15.6 thousand metric tons by 2026. This is the same amount of consumption that the country has experienced since 2017. In 2021, Rwanda was ranked 135 in poultry meat consumption, overtaken by Lesotho at 16 thousand metric tons. The United States, Brazil, and Russia were the top three consumers in 2021, respectively.
