Since 2017, there has been no change in the supply of poultry meat in Suriname. In 2021, Suriname was ranked 126th in poultry meat production, overtaken by Armenia at 11 thousand metric tons. China, Brazil, and Russia respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking. In 2018, Surinamese poultry meat consumption was 19 thousand metric tons, compared to the previous year.
