Kazakhstan is set to become the world's 42nd largest consumer of poultry meat by 2026. The latest figures show that the country's poultry meat consumption is expected to reach 354,000 metric tons by that year, growing at an average rate of 0.5% year on year. This comes after a 0.2% year on year increase since 2017. Ecuador currently holds the 42nd spot with 343,000 metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Russia were the top three consumers in 2021. Kazakhstan is also set to become the world's 58th largest producer of poultry meat by 2026. Data suggests that the country's poultry meat production will reach 214,000 metric tons by then, growing at an average rate of 1.8% year on year. This follows a 1.6% year on year increase since 2017. Malawi currently holds the 58th spot with 192,000 metric tons. In 2021, China, Brazil and Russia were the top three producers.
