By 2026, Zimbabwean poultry meat consumption is expected to reach 66.2 thousand metric tons, a slight decrease of 0.7% from 2021. In 2017, the country ranked 97th in terms of poultry meat consumption, with Uganda coming in first at 69 thousand metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Russia came in at second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Zimbabwean poultry meat production is set to reach 72.4 thousand metric tons by 2026, a growth of 0.8% from 2021. Since 2017, the country has seen a 1.5% year-on-year increase in production, ranking 87th in 2021, with Slovenia surpassing it at 69 thousand metric tons. China, Brazil and Russia followed at second, third and fourth respectively.
