Maltese poultry meat consumption is expected to remain unchanged in the coming years. By 2026, the country is forecast to consume 12,000 metric tons. This is the same as in 2021, when Malta ranked 138th in the world. Samoa overtook Malta with a production of 12,000 metric tons. The United States, Brazil, and Russia followed closely in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Maltese poultry meat production has remained steady since 2017, with an output of 4,000 metric tons in 2018.
