Latvian poultry meat consumption is set to remain stable over the next five years. In 2021, the country consumed 41 thousand metric tons of poultry meat, ranking 116th in the world. North Korea was just ahead, with the same amount of consumption. The United States, Brazil and Russia were the biggest consumers, standing at 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Latvian poultry meat production is expected to rise 1% year-on-year on average over the next five years. In 2021, production was at 35 thousand metric tons, coming in at 107th place. Togo overtook Latvia with the same amount of production. China, Brazil and Russia were the biggest producers, occupying the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots respectively.
