This works out to a rate of decline of 0.1% year-on-year. Since 2017, demand has decreased by 0.3% annually. The country placed 23rd in 2021, with Poland overtaking it at 1.22 million metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Russia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
