Meanwhile, consumption of poultry meat in the UAE is forecast to reach nearly 425,000 metric tons by 2026, a 0.2% average year-on-year growth from 419,000 metric tons in 2021. Demand has risen 0.4% annually since 2017, placing the UAE at 36th in the global rankings, behind Peru at 419,000 metric tons. The US, Brazil and Russia occupied the top three spots.
