New Caledonians are expected to consume nearly 10,000 metric tons of poultry meat by 2026, a slight 0.4% decrease compared to 2021, according to the latest figures. In 2021, the country ranked 141st in poultry meat consumption, with Luxembourg taking the lead with 10,000 metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Russia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. When it comes to poultry meat production, New Caledonians have not seen any significant change since 2017. In 2018, the country produced 1,000 metric tons.
