Uruguayan sunflower oil production decreased 20% between 2017 and 2018, dropping from 500 metric tons to 400 metric tons. Since 1966, supply has decreased 27.5% year on year. In 2018, Uruguay was 70th, behind Estonia's 400 metric tons. Russia, Argentina and Hungary took the 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively.
