Demand for Turkmen sunflower oil is set to reach 16,000 metric tons by 2026, according to the latest projections. This is an increase of 1.3% per year on average compared to the 15,000 metric tons consumed in 2021. Since 2017, Turkmen demand has grown at a rate of 2.3% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 67th in the world. Israel came ahead with 15,000 metric tons, while Russia, Spain, and Argentina ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
