The country was in 17th place in 2021, with Egypt overtaking it with 121,000 metric tons. Russia, Spain and Argentina were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Meanwhile, Mexican production of sunflower oil is set to reach 12,950 metric tons by 2026, down 0.1% from 12,980 metric tons in 2021. Since 1976, Mexican supply has grown 0.1% year-on-year. The country was in 41st place in 2021, with Iraq coming ahead at 12,980 metric tons. Russia, Argentina and Hungary were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
