Belgian consumption of sunflower oil will remain the same from 2021 to 2026, according to a recent report. In 2021, the country was ranked 49th in demand for the oil, with Kyrgyzstan coming ahead at 21 thousand metric tons. Russia, Spain, and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Belgian production of sunflower oil is set to rise by an average of 3.1% year on year, up to 56,650 metric tons by 2026. Since 2005, production has increased by 7%, with Colombia leading the rankings in 2021 at 47,190 metric tons. Russia, Argentina, and Hungary followed in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places.
