Latvian consumption of sunflower oil is predicted to reach 13,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 11,000 metric tons in 2021. This is an increase of 1.6% annually, on average, since 2017. Bosnia and Herzegovina topped the list in 2021 with 11,000 metric tons. Russia, Spain and Argentina respectively ranked second, third and fourth. Latvian sunflower oil production is expected to reach 906 metric tons by 2026, up from 842 metric tons in 2021. This is an increase of 1.2% annually, on average, since 2004. Zimbabwe overtook Latvia in 2021, with 842 metric tons. Russia, Argentina and Hungary respectively ranked second, third and fourth.
