Lithuanian consumption of sunflower oil rose slightly in 2018, reaching 12,000 metric tons. This put the country in 71st place, behind Tunisia at 12,000 metric tons. Russia, Spain and Argentina followed in the rankings. Meanwhile, Lithuanian production of sunflower oil remained steady at 5,000 metric tons in 2018. Since 1997, production has fallen by 70.4%. This put Lithuania in 77th place, behind Denmark at 5,000 metric tons. Russia, Argentina and Hungary followed in the rankings.
