Nepalese consumption of sunflower oil is projected to reach 35 thousand metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country consumed 30 thousand metric tons, a 2.5% increase year-over-year. Since 2017, however, the demand for sunflower oil has decreased by 2.1% annually. Nepal came in 37th place, behind Paraguay which consumed 30 thousand metric tons. Russia, Spain, and Argentina were ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
