Venezuelan consumption of sunflower oil fell by 100% in 2021 compared to the previous year and has been steadily decreasing since 2017. The country ranked 126th in consumption, with Sri Lanka taking the lead at 0 Thousand Metric Tons. Russia, Spain and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Venezuelan production of sunflower oil dropped by 15.1% in 2021 compared to the year before. Since 1991, the country has seen a decline of 5.4% year-on-year, ranking 61st in production with Poland taking the lead at 3,110 Metric Tons. Russia, Argentina and Hungary followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
