Israeli demand for sunflower oil is forecast to remain stable over the next five years, at around 17,000 metric tons per year. In 2021, the country was ranked 62nd in the world, just behind Croatia at 17,000 metric tons. Russia, Spain, and Argentina were the top three countries in terms of consumption. Meanwhile, Israeli production of sunflower oil is expected to decline by 0.4% annually, to reach 4,820 metric tons in 2026. Since 1978, output has decreased by 0.7% per annum. In 2021, Lebanon was the country's leading production competitor at 4,920 metric tons. Russia, Argentina, and Hungary were the world's top three producers.
