Demand for sunflower oil in the United Arab Emirates is expected to reach 20,500 metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 1.1% year-on-year from the 19,000 metric tons consumed in 2021. Since 2017, demand for sunflower oil in the country has grown by 1.8% annually. In 2021, the UAE was 53rd in the global rankings, with Armenia ahead of it at 19,000 metric tons. Russia, Spain, and Argentina were the top three countries in the rankings.
