Russia, Spain, and Argentina are the top three consumers, respectively. Iraqi production of sunflower oil is forecast to reach 17,670 metric tons by 2026, up from 14,700 metric tons in 2021, at an average rate of 3.1% year on year. Since 1966, Iraqi supply has grown at an average rate of 3.2% annually. In 2021, Iraq is the 40th largest producer of sunflower oil, behind Paraguay’s 14,700 metric tons. Russia, Argentina, and Hungary take the top three spots, respectively.
