In 2021, Lebanon ranked 34th, with the US ahead at 39,000 metric tons. Russia, Spain, and Argentina took spots two, three, and four respectively. Meanwhile, production of sunflower oil in Lebanon is estimated to reach 7,950 metric tons in 2026, a 3.7% year-on-year average growth rate. Since 1966, Lebanese supply has grown by 18.7% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 53rd, with Malaysia in the lead at 6,350 metric tons. Russia, Argentina, and Hungary came in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
