Consumption of sunflower oil in Albania is estimated to stay steady at around 17 thousand metric tons over the next five years. In 2021, the country was ranked 62nd in the world, with Colombia taking the lead at the same amount. Russia, Spain and Argentina held the next three spots in the ranking. Production of sunflower oil in Albania, however, is expected to go down by a significant 44.5% in the same timespan, from 267 metric tons in 2021 to 12 metric tons in 2026. Since 1966, the country's supply has decreased by a yearly average of 17.5%. In 2021, Uruguay took the lead in the ranking, with Russia, Argentina and Hungary following close behind.
