Soybean Oil consumption in Egypt is expected to reach 400 thousand metric tons by 2026, up from 350 thousand metric tons in 2021. This reflects a yearly growth rate of 2.2% since 2017. Bangladesh is currently the largest consumer of soybean oil with 350 thousand metric tons. China, India and Brazil come in at second, third and fourth respectively. Egyptian soybean oil production is expected to reach 702,400 metric tons by 2026, up from 573,860 metric tons in 2021. This reflects an average yearly growth rate of 3.4% since 1982. Spain is currently the largest producer of soybean oil with 573,860 metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Argentina come in at second, third and fourth respectively.
