Uganda's soybean oil consumption is forecast to drop 9% annually on average to 7,520 tons by 2026, from 13,000 tons in 2021. The country held the same position in 2021 as it did since 2017, ranking 71st. Malawi overtook Uganda with 13,000 tons of consumption, while China, India and Brazil were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Uganda's soybean oil production is forecast to drop 2.5% annually on average, reaching 15,010 tons by 2026, down from 17,380 tons in 2021. Since 1995, the country's soybean oil supply has declined 7.9% year on year. In 2021, Uganda ranked 52nd, while Chile took the lead with 17,380 tons. The United States, Brazil and Argentina followed, ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
