Consumption of soybean oil in Madagascar is on the rise. In 2021, it reached 38 thousand metric tons, up 2.2% from the previous year. Since 2017, demand has grown by an average 3.8% each year. Madagascar ranked 49th in 2021, behind Chile at 38 thousand metric tons. China, India and Brazil took the top three spots respectively.
