Demand for soybean oil in Malawi is expected to reach 13,380 metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of half a percent each year since 2017. In 2021, Malawi ranked 71st in the world for soybean oil consumption, with 13,000 metric tons. Ireland overtook Malawi at the same level. China, India and Brazil were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.
